a few food ideas for the 1970’s era. i’m using a musical theme, and vinyls were around in the 70’s so this is my main thought. whereas ipod’s would be in the 00’s etc.. this is just a guess of a colour but there was a greeny-bluey colour that was used a lot in the 70’s, trying to get the exact colour.
I’ve started sketching some female comic characters to get the stance and look that they normally portray to the audience. Gathering each character is more or less perfect they all have a similar look to them, their bodies are flawless and create the image of they can do anything.
My next step is top transform the sketches so that the characters have deformed or an ill fitting bra, to show the importance of a bra fitting.

This is what we did last week in web design, basic coding using dreamweaver. I find it really interesting, it’s pretty straight forward once you know the basics, your basically jst telling it what you want it to look like, simple.
My silhouette of ABBA for the 70’s picnic box. I just don’t know what to do for the other 3 sides of the boxes.. doing the same on all 4 sides would be so boring..
This obviously needs a colour background otherwise it’s not going to catch people eyes.
I thought of doing a music theme for my picnic boxes. A famous musician, singer or band from each era. For example in the 80’s Duran Duran were famous, even though they were formed in 1978 they didn’t become famous until the 80’s. The cassette tape player was also an eighties design.
I don’t know what would be on the other 3 sides of the box, or the lid?
I could do 4 different cassettes on each side and have 4 different artists?

I really like this website, partly because it’s typography :) It’s very simple and definitely has a grid layout. They are pretty small boxes all lined up and there are a few pages that are the same layout. I really like this, it doesn’t scroll forever, and it has the main bit above the fold which is good! Pretty effective.
This website is really nice and clean. It’s background is wooden floor. The ‘header’ is really creative, even though its not straight and ‘normal’ it still fits in. There is a grid layout which is pretty simple ^^ | |

ALSO has too much info on it. There is too many different colours going on and too many big paragraphs of writing for anyone to take the time to read. It doesn’t look like there is any grid layout, everything is just all over the place. I don’t even know what its for.. To me it looks like something to do with outer space, but further down ^^ is ordering/shipping details.. /: its too confusing. I wouldn’t stay on here for long at all.
This is a really bad website design. As you can see the scroll bar is tiny.. Which means there is a lot more to the page. This page scroll goes on forever! AND there are more pages ^^ There is way too much information to take in on this website. I suppose the important information is at the top of the fold which is links of their hotels. Too much going on.
